Does the $300 still apply if we do a pre-call and the host passes on me?
No. The charge only runs on a confirmed calendar booking. If a host requires a pre-call and then decides not to move forward, that placement is replaced with another show at no extra charge. We are not here to charge you and then not give you a show.
Are there hidden fees after a booking?
No. It is the $99 per month and the $300 per confirmed placement. There is no setup fee, no success fee, and no percentage on the back end. The only other cost that can ever appear is a host's own appearance fee, which is disclosed to you before you commit to that show.
Will a host ambush me asking for money?
No. Any show that charges an appearance fee is flagged to you before we commit to anything, and you decide whether it is worth it. Most shows we pitch charge nothing.
Do I have to sign a contract somewhere else?
No. The full service agreement lives on this site and you accept it as part of checkout. There is no separate document to e-sign, nothing arrives by DocuSign, and your acceptance is recorded with your signup. It is month to month and you can cancel at any time.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. It is month to month and you can cancel at any time. That said, plan on about 90 days. The first month is largely pitching and the results compound after that.
Why not just pitch shows myself?
You can, and some people do it well. What you would be rebuilding is a 30,000-show database, verified sending infrastructure, existing relationships with hosts, AI matching against your audience, and the willingness to send 50 follow-ups to one host. The pitch is the easy part. The follow-up grind is the job.
What do I actually get out of each episode besides the appearance?
Show notes with a backlink to your site, a YouTube video, social clips, and distribution to that host's audience on Spotify and Apple. We request these from hosts upfront where possible, and we repurpose each episode into short-form content for you afterward.
How soon does anything happen?
Outreach starts around week two, within about a week of you finishing onboarding. Booking timelines vary by show, since larger podcasts often schedule recordings weeks or months out. Booked and recorded are two different dates and we keep both visible to you.
What kind of shows will I be on?
Shows in the top 10% of their charts or niche: hosts with hundreds of episodes, real websites, show notes, and genuine audio and video production. We do not pitch two-episode shows. The one exception is a small show that is unusually relevant to your exact buyer, and even then you approve it first.
How do you get paid for the placements, and where do I see the charges?
You give us a card at signup for the $99 subscription and it stays securely on file with Stripe. The $300 runs automatically when a placement is confirmed on your calendar, and every placement is billed as its own itemized invoice naming the show and the booking date. You can log into your client portal any time to see every invoice, every receipt, and your subscription.
Do I need to already have a podcast or an audience?
No. This is about being a guest on other people's shows, not hosting your own. You do not need followers. You need a point of view and 30 minutes per appearance.
